Video Editing Intern
We're looking for a broadcast production/video editing intern for a paid, part-time internship. You will be an integral part of the agency's broadcast production department, involved in the following:
- Managing and updating the extensive agency video/audio library
- Assisting with encoding videos to various file formats- must have knowledge of encoding and compression schemes, various QT formats and WMV files
- Creating various types of DVDs for both internal use and client needs
- Editing agency videos - you will be encouraged to use your own creativity and editing style
A successful candidate for the position must have:
- Experience in Final Cut Studio preferred — including Motion, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro, Soundtrack Pro, etc.
- Experience with Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator
- Experience in After Effects is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Apple hardware and software troubleshooting is a plus
- Positive, creative, self motivated, problem-solving attitude
- The ability to work in a fast-past, collaborative environment
A full in-house editing suite is available at your disposal – you do not need to bring a computer. Length of the internship is 3 months with a 6-week trial period.
